The gaming e-commerce industry has seen remarkable growth in recent years, with the global gaming market expected to reach $218.7 billion by 2024, according to Statista. As the industry continues to expand, so do the challenges it faces, including ensuring high-quality user experiences and managing complex software integrations.

In this case study, we will examine how a gaming e-commerce platform tackled these challenges through a comprehensive Manual QA testing strategy, resulting in improved performance, increased customer satisfaction, and ultimately, business success.

Brief summary

CDKeys is a gaming e-commerce platform and is one of the largest global resellers of digital gaming codes.

• Our main responsibility was to identify bugs and defects before new updates and enhancements to the website are released, in order to ensure that they meet user expectations and provide a seamless experience.

Pecode team conducted a full-scale custom QA strategy, focused on ensuring users’ satisfaction with CDKeys. Starting with UX/UI and functional testing, to payment methods and cross-platform testing.

Feedback

“We’ve worked with Pecode’s QA team for more than a year now. With so many complex scenarios to test when launching new features on our website, we needed a team that understood our testing and deployment process. We are much more confident when releasing updates, knowing each task has been thoroughly tested prior to live deployment. This also allows us to speed up development and ultimately enhance customer experience.”
