About the project
SquarePeg is an all-in-one recruiting platform that makes it easy to attract and match top candidates, while also providing market intelligence and analytics to help you improve recruiting at every stage of the funnel.
SquarePeg simultaneously integrates with different ATSs, allowing companies to scale recruiting efforts while saving valuable time. Their marketing reaches the widest Talent Network targeting active job seekers on over 250 plus job boards, as well as passive job seekers using strategic campaigns over email, mail, and social media to attract top talent.

What was the challenge
We were responsible for ensuring the whole QA testing process of SquarePeg and confirming that the software and application worked as expected and met the highest standards of quality.
The overall scope of work can be broken down into several sections: identifying issues and creating bug reports, making sure the system works well based on requirements, features correspond with design requirements, test coverage and test documentation, and ensuring proper features work on the user’s side.

Solution we provided
Through our continuous and collaborative partnership with SquarePeg, we have developed and refined customized QA processes that are tailored to their specific requirements. Our approach is centered on enhancing the overall product quality, which is achieved by regular and effective communication with the SquarePeg team and adapting to their needs.
Here is the list of processes we conducted during our cooperation:
1. Functional and non-functional testing
2. Smoke, Sanity, UI/UX, Exploratory, Regression testing
3. Compatibility testing (Web and mobile testing; Windows, macOS; Android, IOS; Chrome, Safari, Mozilla)
4. Implemented X-Ray test management system. This allowed us to:
- structure all test cases;
- create and attach test coverage to each ticket;
- divide test cases to test sets (every test set covers separate section/page of the project);
- create general, fix version, regression test plan.
5. Optimized regression testing before release due to creating and updating the regression test plan
6. Implemented “Aging bugs” to keep a “clear” backlog
7. New features testing to ensure correspondence with PerfectPixel design.
