True Classic — is a chain of 5 offline stores in the USA and a popular worldwide e-commerce website with a huge selection of clothes for men. The user-friendly website allows for easy navigation and secure checkout, ensuring a hassle-free shopping experience. 

With worldwide shipping, True Classic delivers straight to customers’ doorstep, no matter where they are.

They understand the importance of affordability, which is why they offer frequent promotions and discounts. Customers can expect to find regular sales and special offers on a variety of products.

What was the challenge

One of the primary challenges for a QA engineer working with a worldwide online shop is to ensure the functionality and performance of the platform across different devices, browsers, and operating systems. 

With customers accessing the platform from all around the world, it is critical to ensure that the platform works seamlessly for everyone, regardless of their location or device. The QA engineer needs to test the geotargeting feature rigorously to ensure that the correct currency and stock counters are displayed based on the user’s location.

The main responsibility was to develop a test plan and test strategy, execute test cases and checklists, identify and report defects, collaborate with the development team, and continuously improve the testing process.

After defining and setting up the workflow, we established a custom-designed QA workflow regarding True Classic team needs and wants. Together with their in-house team, we focused on constantly improving product quality using ‘sprints’ as the basic cooperation model.
